President Of Zambia Michael Sata Dies At 77

The President of Zambia, Michael Sata has died in London where he was being treated for an undisclosed illness.
A source close to the government has confirmed this news in the early hours of Wednesday. According to the report by Reuters:
The private Muzi television station and the Zambia Reports and Zambian Watchdog websites said the southern African nation’s 77-year-old leader died on Tuesday evening at London’s King Edward VII hospital.
“It is true. We lost the President. The acting president will make a statement soon,”
the source told Reuters.
The defense minister Edgar Lungu or vice president Guy Scott are mostly likely to step in and be sworn in as acting president. If Guy Scott is sworn in, he’ll be the first white head of state since 1994, when FW de Klerk was president of South Africa.
